Finch Lake Trail

Report Summary
We had planned to hike to the Gorge Lakes as our last trek. However, we awoke to strong winds and cloudy skies so we decided to hike to Pear Lake from the Finch Lake TH. It was a very dark and dreary morning though warmer than we expected. The wind died down as we started our trek but eventually a light, steady rain began to fall. The views weren't very good so we diverted off the Calypso Cascades before reaching Finch Lake. We headed back to the trail head and then returned to the cabin hoping the weather would clear for another hike later in the day.
